Registration of debenture trustees is conditional on prior Board approval for any change in control, payment of prescribed registration fees, prompt investor grievance redressal and reporting, maintenance of capital adequacy as per regulation 7A, compliance with applicable regulations governing trustee activities, and immediate intimation to the Board of changes in information submitted at registration; the duty to obtain fresh registration under the Act, where applicable, remains unaffected.
