Repeal cancels the 2012 securities exchange regulations and specified circulars on commencement of the 2018 regulations. Savings and deeming provisions treat acts, actions or proceedings under the repealed instruments as having been done or commenced under corresponding provisions of the 2018 regulations, and references to the repealed instruments in other Board instruments are deemed references to the relevant provisions of the 2018 regulations; the 2021 amendment similarly repeals an earlier regulatory fee regulation and applies equivalent savings.
