Registration of InvITs requires satisfaction of eligibility, payment of prescribed fee, possible in principle approval and conditions.

The Board, satisfied that the applicant meets the requirements of regulation 4 and on receipt of the prescribed registration fee, shall intimate the applicant and grant a certificate of registration in the prescribed form; the Board may grant in principle approval where appropriate and thereafter grant final registration to the trust, and may impose such conditions on the registration as it deems fit.
