Pension recognition for incumbent judicial and government appointees: tribunal service counts toward pension under parent service rules.

Service by a serving Supreme Court Judge, Chief Justice of a High Court, Judge of a High Court, or an officer in pensionable central or state service while holding Tribunal posts is to be counted for pension under the rules of the parent service. The Presiding Officer and Members who remain eligible are governed by the General Provident Fund (Central Services) Rules; other appointees are entitled to a Contributory Provident Fund.
