Relaxation of compliance time permits additional time where uncontrollable circumstances delay regulatory duties, subject to fulfilled conditions and written reasons.

The Board may extend the time for an applicant, Customs Broker, or NACIN to comply with duties or obligations under the Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations, 2018 where delay arises from reasons beyond their control. The applicant or entity must otherwise fulfil the conditions under the relevant provision. Any extension may be granted only after consideration of a representation and recording reasons in writing.
