Post employment restrictions prevent former NFRA chairpersons and members from taking employment with parties previously before the Authority.

Other conditions of service prescribe equivalence to Central Government Group 'A' terms where not provided; incumbents are prohibited from practising before the Authority and from undertaking arbitration work while serving; former chairpersons and full time members are barred for a limited period after leaving office from employment connected with management or administration of persons who were parties to proceedings before the Authority, with an exemption for government and statutory body employment.
