Protection in good faith bars legal proceedings against tribunal officials and authorised officers for acts under the Act.

The Act bars suits, prosecutions and other legal proceedings against the President, State President, Members, officers and employees of the Appellate Tribunal, any person authorised by it, and officers appointed or authorised under the Act for anything done or intended to be done in good faith under the Act or its rules, providing statutory immunity for official acts within the scope of the statute and its rules.
