Payment despite appeal: sums ordered by appellate or high court benches remain payable under the order during appeals.

Sums due to the Government pursuant to an order of an Appellate Tribunal bench or of the High Court shall remain payable in accordance with that order notwithstanding that an appeal has been preferred to the High Court or the Supreme Court, so that filing further appeals does not suspend the payment obligation created by the tribunal or High Court order.
