Reference to the Tribunal must be filed as a petition in the prescribed form with required annexure documents.

References to the Tribunal by the Registrar, the Central Government, complainants, or companies under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act must be made by way of a petition or application in Form No. NCLT-9 in Annexure A and accompanied by the documents specified in Annexure B, thereby prescribing a uniform filing format and documentary annexure requirement for such statutory referrals.
