Amendments to the Act (effective 1 June 2016) remove section 2A and targeted wording in section 3, and substantially amend section 12 to broaden the Tribunal's appellate jurisdiction to include specified orders under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and orders under the Prevention of Money laundering Act, permit benches of one or two members, omit a prior qualification phrase, and provide that the senior most member acts as Chairman on vacancy or temporary incapacity.
