If the due date of payment is ascertainable from the contract, the invoice is to be issued before or after the payment becomes liable, whether or not payment is received. If the due date is not ascertainable, invoices are issued before or after each receipt of payment. If payment is linked to event completion, invoices are issued before or after completion, each time within the prescribed period.
