Amendments to a registered society's by-laws are not valid until registered under the Act, requiring a copy to be forwarded to the Registrar. The Registrar may register an amendment if satisfied it is not contrary to the Act or the rules and, on registration, must issue a certified copy which is conclusive evidence of registration.
