Central Advisory Board advises on fixing minimum wages for working journalists and sales promotion employees when referred by government.

On referral by the Central Government the Central Advisory Board must advise on the fixation of minimum wages for working journalists under the 1955 Act and for sales promotion employees under the 1976 Act, thereby supplementing the Board's functions under section 42.
