Modification to proposed combination: parties must file proposed remedies and accept or reject the Commission's proposal within prescribed timeframes.

Commission may propose a modification to a notified combination; the Secretary must communicate it within seven days and the notifying party must accept or reject in writing within five days. Time taken in communication and in the party's response is excluded from specified statutory time limits. Modifications must be filed in Form IV. Parties may offer modifications to address prima facie concerns within fifteen days of a notice or within ten working days from acknowledgement, as applicable. If the Commission approves subject to modification, parties must implement terms within the period specified, and failure to do so permits the Commission to pass a consequent order within a limited timeframe.
