Commitment applications require timely full disclosure, remedial proposals and compliance with defect-curing procedures before consideration in competition proceedings.

Commitment applications may be filed after a prima facie order and before receipt of the investigation report, with the prescribed fee, full factual disclosure, proposed commitments, implementation and monitoring details, and disclosures concerning prior, pending or parallel proceedings. Filing is ordinarily required within 60 days of receipt of the prima facie order, with a further 30-day condonable period for sufficient cause. Defective applications must be cured and refiled within 10 working days or become invalid. Withdrawal is permitted before an order on commitments, but applications are barred where recoverable statutory dues remain unpaid.
