Fraudulent claim to property makes it an offence to knowingly accept, receive or claim property or an interest therein, or to practise deception about such rights, with the intent to prevent the property or interest from being seized as a forfeiture or taken in execution of a decree or order; culpability requires knowledge that a forfeiture, sentence, decree or order has been or is likely to be pronounced or made. Punishment may be imprisonment up to two years, or fine, or both.
