Fraudulent cancellation of wills and related documents punishable by life or term imprisonment and fine.

The provision criminalises fraudulent or dishonest cancellation, destruction, defacement, secrecy, attempted interference or mischief in respect of documents that are or purport to be a will, an authority to adopt a son, or any valuable security; the offence requires fraud, dishonesty, or intent to cause damage or injury and is punishable with life imprisonment or imprisonment for a term up to seven years, along with liability to fine.
